Srinakharinwirot University is committed to developing
itself as a green university. Recognizing the importance
of environmentally responsible management, energy
conservation, and the efficient management of natural
resources and the environment, the University seeks to
advance its policies on net-zero greenhouse gas emissions
and carbon neutrality, as well as its participation in the
UI GreenMetric World University Rankings.
By virtue of Section 34 of the Srinakharinwirot University
Act, B.E. 2559 (2016), and in accordance with the
resolution of the Green University Steering Committee
(UI Green) at its Meeting No. 1/2569, held on 13 January
B.E. 2569 (2026), the University hereby announces the
Green University Policy.
This policy shall serve as a framework for University
units, personnel, and students to raise environmental
awareness and jointly undertake concrete environmental
actions under the Green University Policy framework,
